Honor Bound

The stupidity of sound bites drive me insane -- the war on terror, flip-flopper, fight-em over there... etc. As if you can make it true if you say it often enough. Makes you sick not only that they try but because it works (on some). Why don't we add other truisms like "step on a crack, break break your mother's back."

George Carlin had it right when he said that they dumb-down the language to manipulate people using soft words that completely hide the real meaning until there's no meaning left.
